What it is

The conversation worth having before deployment

Copilot is easy to switch on. It is much harder to make safe. The Readiness Assessment is the work that determines whether you are ready to roll out, what needs to be tightened first, and what the realistic value will be once it lands.

It runs over one to two weeks, with a defined output: a written report, a remediation list, and a recommendation on how, when and at what pace to deploy. You can take that report to anyone, including another provider.

You leave the Assessment with a clear picture and a written plan. Whether you continue with AgileAI after that is a separate decision.

Microsoft Copilot features being reviewed

What it covers

The five things the Assessment looks at

01

Permissions and sharing

The single biggest risk for Copilot deployments. Where access is too open, where shared links are loose, where shared mailboxes create exposure.

02

Data classification

What is sensitive, internal or open in your tenant today. Where labelling is missing. What Copilot will be able to see if it turns on tomorrow.

03

Current AI usage

What tools your staff are already using. Where there is shadow AI activity that the business should know about. What is at risk today.

04

Policy gap

What your current AI policy says (or does not say). Where it needs to be updated. What your industry's obligations look like today.

05

Adoption readiness

Which roles will see the most value from Copilot, what training they will need, where champions exist in the team, where resistance might come from.

06

Right-fit recommendation

The honest answer on whether Copilot is the right tool for your business at this point, at this scope, or whether you should wait, scale down or shape the deployment differently.

Common questions

About the Assessment

What does the Assessment cost?
The Assessment fee is scoped after the initial call, based on user count and tenant complexity. For most businesses in our target size (10 to 100 users) it is a fixed fee, communicated up front. There is no open-ended billing.
Do we need to be an Agile IT client to do the Assessment?
No. The Assessment is available to any business, whether you are on AgileMANAGED, with another provider, or running IT in-house. The report is yours to take wherever you need.
How long does it take?
One to two weeks from kick-off to the working session, depending on tenant size and how quickly we can get the access and information we need.
What access do you need?
Read-only admin access to your Microsoft 365 tenant for the duration of the Assessment, then revoked at the end. The Assessment is non-intrusive. Nothing is changed in your tenant during the work.
What if the Assessment says we are not ready?
Then it has done its job. The report explains why, what to fix first, and how long the remediation will take. You can then come back to the Copilot question once those items are addressed.
